GoDaddy ReviewsGoDaddy is the biggest internet domain name registrar and also a web hosting company. Registering a domain can be a complex and time consuming process due to the amount of offers displayed, but most of the times you get a decent price. That is, of course, when you use one of the famous coupon codes available on the wild. |

GoDaddy Review by Name, March 16, 2008
I will very scarcely use Godaddy anymore. The Customer Service is terrible. They provide no information what-so-ever about the problem you are trying to resolve. The interface takes too much time and searching to find certain things. Not many features at all.

The best thing that I like about Godaddy is it’s price. The worst thing is the checkout process where they make you wade through pages of ads before you can actually checkout and pay. Guess all the ads must be working for them as some people must buy their extra services, otherwise they wouldn’t have so many other services ad pages.

Honestly…I have been extremely pleased for the most part with GoDaddy as my registrar. I’m in the process of moving the rest of my names away from Network Solutions to my GoDaddy account. Their UI is great…when I make a DNS change it happens within minutes, not the 24-48 hours that it takes Netsol to switch DNS, and of course…their price is great.
My only gripe is their risque advertising practices. I have actually had to register names for clients of mine with another registrar because they refuse to do business with GoDaddy because they disagree with their SuperBowl commercials. (yeah, I think it’s stupid too but they’re my clients and I respect their wishes)
GoDaddy Review by Why Not Me, October 12, 2008
Good value, but there are some major flaws. The phone support is terrible, and they are confusing you and trying to prevent helping the user. The price is reasonable, but it could be cheaper. There interface is smothered in advertisement for other services, which makes life confusing, and i avoid godaddy. They also tend to delete domains of illegal sites WITHOUT any warning, which i feel is wrong. Loads of features, too many to list, but they need to redesign the site, it is cluttered and looks like someones myspace profile.
